Missions activity
Missions is the outreach arm of the church.

The saving purpose of God must reach the ends of the earth. This is the mission: "to make disciples for Jesus Christ." It includes serving people with food, shelter, and other physical needs as well as offering Christ for their spiritual needs.

We support a variety of missions through our denominational giving and help to support one of our members, Dr. Sylvia  Reimer, the Health Care Professional for the United Methodist missionaries in the States and overseas.

Locally, we support:

In 2005, Dr. Sylvia and Dr. Marvin Reimer took church members and friends to Alabama to help clean up and rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Ivan.  Much was accomplished by these people.

Dr. Sylvia Reimer is organizing a mission trip to Zimbabwe this summer.  Please call 782-3033, the church phone number if you are interested in going on this particular mission trip for summer 2006.  If so, get your passport ready!
